After a delicious breakfast, you will begin the trekking. The trail from Dhunche ascends through lush rhododendrons and pine forests. On the way, you will trek past Thulo Syabru and Shin Gompa. Shin Gompa is a very old monastery. Here, you will also visit a local yak cheese factory. While trekking, enjoy stunning mountain views. The route from Shin Gompa to Cholangpati is steep and rugged.

You will leave Cholangpati after a delicious breakfast. Following uneven cliffsides, trek to Lauribinayak. From here, the trail steeply ascends via dense forest to Gosaikunda Lake. It is one of the sacred lakes in Nepal. Around the Gosaikunda Lake, you can also visit the Bhairav Kunda and Saraswati Kund. On this day, you will cross the Lauribina pass. The trail from Gosaikunda Lake follows rugged foothills and walks past many small glacial lakes. Gradually ascend to the top of the Laurinia pass following a steep trail. The views of the mountains are spectacular, as usual. The scenery from the top of the pass is extremely fantastic. The trail from the pass steeply descends via meadows and forests of pine and fi to Ghopte.

You are now trekking in the Helambu region, one of the less visited trekking regions in Nepal. The trail from Ghopte traverses via dense forests of pine and rhododendron. You will keep ascending and descending, following rocky tracks to Thadepati. Further, ascend to the Thadepati pass. The views of the Langtang range and Ganesh Himal are wonderful from the top of the pass. From the pass, descend through a forested route to Kutumsang for the night stay.

You are almost at the end of the trek. Get to see the lifestyle of the Sherpa and Tamang

communities in Kutumsang. From here, the trail drops down through lush forests. You will reach Pati Bhanjyang, mostly resided by the Chhetri and Brahmin communities. Further, follow a winding uphill and downhill trail via small settlements to Chisapani. This village offers a spectacular mountain panorama on a clear day.

Today is your last day of trekking. From Chisapani, the trail descends via stone staircases and enters the Shivapuri National Park. You will continue trekking via dense forests of oak, pine, and rhododendrons. Enjoy a peaceful environment, beautiful scenery, waterfalls, and soaring rivers on the way.

Upon reaching Sundarijal, drive back to Kathmandu in a local jeep. The guide will drop you at the hotel. Spend the remaining day in the city, resting and shopping. In the late evening, we will catch up during the farewell dinner.

After Gosaikunda Lake, the trail ascends to the Lauribina pass (4,610 m/15,124 ft). Crossing the pass is very challenging and takes around 8 to 9 hours of walking. After the pass, you will trek in the Helambu region. This part of the trail gets even more remote with many uphill and downhill walking.

The Gosaikunda Lauribina pass trek starts from Dhunche at 2,030 meters (6,660 ft) and ascends to 4,610 meters (15,124 ft). As this is a short itinerary, you will quickly gain the elevation and drop it.
