The trek demands 5 to 6 hours of walking uphill and downhill every day for the duration of the journey. The terrain is rugged and constantly ascends and descends.

15) Which is better, Annapurna Circuit or Annapurna Base Camp?
✓ The Annapurna Circuit Trek and the Annapurna Base Camp Treks are both incredible ventures in the western Himalayan range in Nepal. You can choose either of them based on your interests. Note that the Annapurna Circuit trek is very challenging and includes mountain pass crossing, so select according to your fitness.
If you are looking for an achievable and short trekking program, the Annapurna Base Camp trek is an excellent option. However, if you are an experienced trekker looking to challenge yourself, go for the Annapurna Circuit trek.
16) Is there snowfall in Annapurna Base Camp?
✓ The temperature at the Annapurna Base Camp ranges from around 20 degrees Celsius to -10 degrees Celsius and below. There is always snow at the Annapurna Base Camp, and as per the weather conditions and season you are trekking in, you may experience snowfall, too.

Our ABC trek package includes twin-shared rooms. If you want single rooms, an extra charge applies. The rooms are small but comfortable. Likewise, washrooms are mostly made outside lodges and shared between the trekkers.
Some common dishes found along the trail are dal bhat, fried rice, rice with curry, chapati, porridge, soups, momo, noodles, pasta, thukpa, etc. You will also find pizza, French fries, etc, in some places. Similarly, toast, eggs, muesli, oats, pancakes, etc, are available for breakfast.
19) Is Annapurna Base Camp crowded?
✓ The Annapurna Base Camp trail sees hundreds of trekkers every year between March to May and September to November. So, yes, the trail gets a bit crowded. However, you will still enjoy the journey, especially if you love meeting new people.
20) What about charging and a hot shower during the trek?
✓ Along the way, lodges offer charging services for USD 1 to USD 3 per device. Likewise, hot showers can cost between USD 4 and USD 7. Make sure to carry alternatives like a power bank and wet wipes for the journey.
